Can you see me now?

I know this isn't the most reliable of blogs. Heck, I"m just doing it for myself anyway. But, if you stumble upon this, you might like to see what I've been up to lately:

I'm the November 15, 2006 Italian Showcase on the Realm of Venus. WOO HOO! Just a quite little corner of the web world, but it's where I've developed a rather intense fondness for Venetian Renaissance garb. So, if you have a moment, check out what I spent the last week or so killing myself to complete!

So, have you heard of letterboxing?

Letterboxing. It's my latest obsession. Along with Jack Sparrow, sleeping, and Rockstar Supernova, that is. At any rate, letterboxing is one of those hobbies that appeals to my artistic side, as well as the adventure/piratical soul.

Here's the skinny on letterboxing (and my thanks to the folks at Atlas Quest who do a better job of explaining than I do).

Letterboxing is an intriguing pastime combining artistic ability with delightful "treasure-hunts" in beautiful, scenic places that the whole family can enjoy. Participants seek out hidden letterboxes by following clues, and then record their discovery in their personal journal with the help of a rubber stamp that's part of the letterbox. In addition, letterboxers have their own personal stamps which they use to stamp into the letterbox's logbook.

Interested yet? If you are, or just want more info, check out my links where there are several letterboxing sites listed.

Then, come on and join the fun!

It's a boy....I mean a blog!

So, here's my attempt at blogging. While I have wide and varied interest, I hope this will help me get in touch with other like-minded folks. Strange thing is, I don't really have that much to say. What you read here is more likely to be wild ramblings as opposed to coherent thoughts. Of course, that could probably be said for most blogs. I don't expect this blog to change the world. Heck, I don't expect this blog to change me. But, I can share, and hopefully, someone can learn. Perhaps it's the eternal teacher in me. So, if you're reading, stay tuned, and we'll see what develops together.
