Reason #473,259 Why I Love My Kids

Last night, the kids and I had a movie night. We watched several movies, one of them being the new Transformers movie for what seems like the 435th time since Christmas, when MUC received it as a gift. I have to admit a secret attraction to the movie, which is actually well done, despite the subject matter and its boy-friendly nature. As we're watching the movie, I off-handedly comment that I used to have a car very similar to Bumblebee.

In the first half of the movie, Bumblebee's "alter ego" is as a late-70's model Chevy Camaro. As you can see in the pictures, it's a rusted, busted piece of junk. Well, frankly, so was mine. Only, mine was a burgundy rusted, busted piece of junk, and I told the kids that. The conversation went something like this:

Me: Hey, guys, I used to have a car like that.

GLB (never looking from the TV): Like Bumblebee?

Me: Yeah, like Bumblebee. I had a Camaro, just like Bumblebee, except mine wasn't yellow, it was burgundy, which is kind of like a dark red.

MUC (with a studious, considering look): So, which robot did you have?
